How to become an Umpire?

  • Talk with the Umpires Supervisor at your Association or Club.
  • Each Association has different training opportunities and expectations of new umpires.
  • Attend beginner training sessions run by your Association or Club. For example: Introduction to Umpiring Workshop.
  • Associations and Clubs provide mentors to support the beginner umpires through the first weeks of umpiring competition matches.
