VU Vultures Netball Club is seeking highly capable and enthusiastic coaches for their Tuesday Night Premier Open Division Teams in the Parkville Netball Competition for the AUTUMN 2018 Season. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with committed netball players supported by Victoria University in a highly competitive competition. The club currently fields teams in Open Division 1, 4 and 5.
VU Vultures Netball Club: VU Vultures Netball Club has its home in the inner west and predominantly recruits its player base from the top associations in the western suburbs. It offers the opportunity for players of all ages (juniors and seniors) to continually develop skills in netball and enjoy strong competition. The core values which drive the operations of the club are: respect, teamwork, development, participation, sportsmanship and enjoyment.
Qualifications and Desirables: Previous coaching experience and a Development Level Coaches Accreditation is desired. We are seeking a coach who is highly motivated, with excellent communication and leadership skills. They should have a thorough knowledge of skills and game play, and coach in accordance with Netball Victoria’s Coaching Code of Conduct.
Commitment: Games are played on a Tuesday Night at the State Netball & Hockey Centre in Parkville. Game times vary for the teams in each Division.
Open and training will be held on a Sunday afternoons at the VU community Sports Stadium, 417 Barkly street West Footscray.
Attendance at social events and the Annual General Meeting is desired.
Remuneration: The amount of remuneration will be dependent on the level of experience and commitment possible.

Thorpdale Football Netball Club
Thorpdale Football Netball Club is seeking enthusiastic, experienced and committed Netball Coaching staff for our 2018 season.
Our Football Netball Club promotes a fun and supportive environment for our players and is looking for like-minded Coaches for our club.
With the knowledge and guidance of our new Head Coach, teamed with the support of the Development and Junior coaches, we are hoping to gain new players and develop our existing squad.
We place a strong focus on junior development; encouraging Junior players to play in the Senior Grades when they have developed the skill levels. We are looking to build on last season’s success with A Grade and D Grade making finals.

Pre-season commencing end of January – including fitness and skills and participation in the Moe and District preseason competition – (4 Weeks in Feb/Mar).
Season commencing early April 2018 through to Presentation Night in September. We follow the Mid Gippsland Football Netball League Fixture.
Key Tasks & Expectations:
- Plan and co-ordinate pre-season training, team selections and external match play
- Plan, manage and deliver weekly training sessions, team selections and weekly matches
- Work with and mentor the Development Squad and Junior Coaches to implement club wide structures and team morale
- Attend games with full responsibility for team performance
- Participate in club functions and special events
- Instill a strong team culture of belief, success and pride
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Abide by all relevant codes of conduct
- Successfully and confidently manage conflict
