FOUR MELBOURNE VIXENS PLAYERS NAMED IN AUSTRALIAN 21/U TEAM

Selectors have today announced the 12 athletes in the Australian 21/U team that will participate shortly in a New Zealand tour. The team was selected after an extensive three day training camp in Canberra.

The team will play against the Diamonds on Tuesday 30 September and take on the Silver Ferns on Wednesday 1 October, with the possibility of a third match being scheduled.

Netball Victoria CEO Michelle Plane said: “We are delighted to see that four Melbourne Vixen players have been named in the Australian 21/U team  – Kate Moloney, Chloe Watson, Liz Watson and Joanna Weston

This is a fantastic result and a reflection on the strong investment in pathway systems that Netball Victoria has undertaken, in this instance resulting in world class athletes representing their country.”
