As part of assisting our members with the management of our associations, Netball Victoria will continue to provide FREE development and training opportunities in 2016 to all affiliated Association members.
Association training will be predominately allocated within Netball Victoria’s zones and regions. The training is aimed at strengthening the capacity of Association committees to respond to complaints or disputes and implementing processes to compliment existing rules and regulations to assist in further development.
Netball Victoria are providing funding for affiliated Associations, Leagues and clubs who wish to host a development workshop for their members. The following development workshops are confirmed for 2016.
With an aim in reducing the prevalence of serious knee injuries by up to 70 per cent with the Knee injury prevention for Netballers and Enhance performance and Extend play (KNEE) Program.
The first of its kind in netball, the KNEE Program, developed with the support of the Australian Institute of Sport, is an on court warm up program designed to enhance movement efficiency and prevent injury. More here.
The Emerging Leaders program is an outstanding opportunity for current netballers, coaches, umpires, volunteers or administrators to build their leadership skills and capacity to contribute to the development of their netball community.

Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation – The VRGF is here to help people affected by problem gambling, as well as their families and friends. We provide problem gambling counselling and other services for those affected by problem gambling, we run community education and information campaigns to support responsible gambling and commission research to ensure our programs are based on the best available evidence.
