La Trobe University Netball Club

The La Trobe University Netball Club has recently been accepted into the Northern Football Netball League and we are seeking a coach to run the program in 2019. Based on the Bundoora Campus, the LaTrobe Netball Club is gearing for an exciting season of netball in 2019.


This is a contract position and we are willing to pay for any additional qualifications that would be required. Payment will be based upon qualifications.


The position includes a team training session on a weekly basis (Monday nights, 4-5:30pm La Trobe Sports Centre) and the game on a Friday nights (games varying from 6-9pm., location varying: Parade College, RMIT Uni, Mernda Central, Harvest Home/Wollert, Morang South Primary School).


We are looking at entering 2 teams and think that this would be a good opportunity for a younger coach looking to develop skills and run their own squad of players.

Fairway Netball Club

Due to an increase in members we require Coaches for Under 11’s, Under 13’s and Under 15’s

Fairway Netball Club courts are base at Frankston District Netball Association Courts. Training is on Tuesday night from 4:15pm till 6pm. Games are on a Saturday at the same courts.

These are Volunteer roles with a possible honorarium in 2020 for all our coaches.

Experience at coaching is required if you over 18 you must have a WWCC. Development Accreditation is a must. The Club will pay the accreditation fees for you to increase your skills over time.

It would be great to have these roles filled before the start of 2019 netball season.

Our players are well represented in the Squad and Peninsula Waves teams for FDNA and are encouraged and supported in roles as coaches and umpires. Parental and volunteer engagement and support is strongly valued and encouraged within our club.

Brunswick Netball Club 

Under 13 girls team.

Junior Coach Required.

A Junior coach required for one hour training on a Wednesday between 4-5 at the netball courts Raeburn Reserve (cnr Pearson and Victoria St West Brunswick) and from 12.00 – 1.15pm at the State Netball Centre, Parkville for the games.

A fee of $70.00 per week during the season is payable to cover both training and game time.  Any extra training and time spent would be at $30 / hr.

Ideally the coach would be in year 12 or older and have an active engagement in the sport as a player and/ or in coaching positions.

Mordialloc College

In 2020 Mordialloc College is introducing a Sports Excellence Program for students entering Year 7. This program will continue through to the end of their Secondary Schooling, with new intakes each year in Year 7. Netball is one of the sports being offered. A teacher will be assigned to this class, however, we require expertise from a qualified netball coach to support the program.

Students in the Mordialloc Sport Excellence Program will participate in sessions during Physical Education classes and training before school with sessions developed to meet each student’s individual needs.

This position would require up to 2-3 hours a week in the first year. In subsequent years this time commitment will increase as each additional cohort of students is added.

Cheltenham Panthers Netball Club is seeking a Head Coach to join our growing club for the 2019 Netball season.

We currently have 7 teams ranging from U11’s to U17’s and 1 Netsetgo team at the moment.  We play in the KDNA association at Dales Park and train on Thursday nights at Le Page Netball Courts, Argus Street, Cheltenham.

In 2018 we changed our name from Phantoms Netball Club to Cheltenham Panthers Netball Club and joined the junior football and cricket club under the Panthers Banner.  This allows us to apply for grants and obtain advertising to gain greater representation and support in the community.

The NetsetGo program is being run by our club and will be our growth and future.

The role of Head Coach would be to oversee all teams and coaches and work in conjunction with the existing coaches to implement court structures whilst aiming to progress the development of our junior players.

Responsibilities of the Head Coach would include:

  • The planning, preparation and overseeing of training each week
  • Working in conjunction with the existing coaches to implement court structure and solid training techniques whilst aiming to progress the development of our junior players
  • Assisting coaches with their development
  • Determining additional techniques/sessions to provide further enhancement for advancementand/or to assist players with specific training needs.

Newport Power Netball Club

The Newport Power Netball Club is a large local netball club in Melbourne’s inner west. We have around 300 players from U/9-U/17 of varying abilities and are looking to recruit some new coaches to our growing club. Our club values are learn, enjoy and improve.

Our teams train on weeknights at our club courts in Newport for 1 hour per week (the time and day is flexible dependent on the availability of our coaches).

Our matches are played on Saturday afternoons at the Altona Netball Association. 


Desirable skills and experience

  • We are looking to for coaches who have some coaching and playing experience. Ideally, we would like our coaches to have obtained their Netball Victoria Level 1 coaching certificate as a minimum.
  • All coaches over the age of 18 will require a WWCC.
  • Our coaches need to have excellent communication skills to liaise with players, parents and the club committee.
  • The coaches will report directly to the Coaching Coordinator.
  • Remuneration may be offered based on experience and qualifications. This can also be a voluntary role for someone who wishes to gain valuable experience in coaching.

  • Plan, manage & deliver weekly training sessions

Seeking Representative Team Coaches

Macedon Ranges Netball Association is seeking enthusiastic and motivated coaches for the 2019 Representative program.

Our MRNA rep squads are selected from 10 teams across the Macedon Ranges and in 2019 we have U11, U13 and U15 squads.  Our MRNA Netball Complex in located in New Gisborne and has excellent facilities.

Our representative teams will be participating in the MRNA competition on a Saturday morning and require a minimum of one training session per week, with the exception of the 15/u team competing in a midweek competition and will require a minimum of one training session per week.  All teams will compete in 5-6 tournaments, with 13/u and 15/u competing at the association championships.

It is required coaches are enthusiastic; create a supportive environment for our players to develop.  All Coaches must have  VNA registration  and   a current WWCC.  All coaches must be Netball Victoria Foundation accredited.  Coaches will be remunerated. Experience with tournaments is highly desirable.

Following a number of prosperous years the Pines successfully transitioned from Nepean Football League to the Mornington Peninsula Football League which eventually became the MPNFL.  Pines Netball Club was added to the sporting arrangements in 2011 and with new netball courts  built within the Eric Bell reserve in 2018 the integration of netball and football into one club will be complete.
