VU Vultures Netball Club
VU Vultures Netball Club is seeking highly capable and enthusiastic coaches for their Saturday morning 13 & Under teams in the Parkville Netball Competition for the Spring 2019 Season. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with committed netball players supported by Victoria University in a highly competitive competition. The club currently fields teams in 13&U division.
VU Vultures Netball Club: VU Vultures Netball Club has its home in the inner west and predominantly recruits its player base from the top associations in the western suburbs. It offers the opportunity for players of all ages (juniors and seniors) to continually develop skills in netball and enjoy strong competition. The core values which drive the operations of the club are: respect, teamwork, development, participation, sportsmanship and enjoyment.
Qualifications and Desirables: Previous coaching experience and a Development Level Coaches Accreditation is desired. We are seeking a coach who is highly motivated, with excellent communication and leadership skills. They should have a thorough knowledge of skills and game play, and coach in accordance with Netball Victoria’s Coaching Code of Conduct.
Commitment: Games are played on a Saturday morning at the State Netball & Hockey Centre in Parkville. Game times vary for the teams in each Division.
Training is held on Sunday afternoons at the VU community Sports Stadium, 417 Barkly street West Footscray.
Attendance at social events and the Annual General Meeting is desired.
Remuneration: The amount of remuneration will be dependent on the level of experience and commitment possible.

MLC Stars Netball Manager and Coach

Methodist Ladies’ College (MLC) is one of Australia’s most respected and innovative schools, with over 2,000 students from our Early Learning Centre (MLC Kindle) to Year 12, including international students and boarders.
The MLC Stars Netball Program operates as part of the MLC Sport Program and is one of 30 sports offered to MLC students. The Stars Netball program is part of the MLC Intensive Sport Program, which offers specialist programs in various sports. The Stars Netball Program is a valuable and exciting program, fully supported by the College. It provides opportunities for students of all standards to learn the skills and strategies of the game and enjoy participation in a competitive team environment.
The Manager of the MLC Stars Netball Program is responsible for the administration and management of the MLC Stars Netball teams and coaches. The Manager also provides coaching sessions during the school week, and coaches players on Saturdays in the Boroondara Netball Association competition. To be successful in this role, you will have the skills, drive and imagination to develop and deliver a program that helps each student to reach her potential, in a positive, safe and enjoyable environment.
This position is part time working 16.5 hours per week.

Netball Coaches Required – Newport Power Netball Club
The Newport Power Netball Club is a large local netball club in Melbourne’s inner west. We have around 300 players from U/9-U/17 of varying abilities and are looking to recruit some new coaches to our growing club. Our club values are learn, enjoy and improve.
Our teams train on weeknights at our club courts in Newport for 1 hour per week (the time and day is flexible dependent on the availability of our coaches).
Our matches are played on Saturday afternoons at the Altona Netball Association.
Desirable skills and experience
- We are looking to for coaches who have some coaching and playing experience. Ideally, we would like our coaches to have obtained their Netball Victoria Level 1 coaching certificate as a minimum.
- All coaches over the age of 18 will require a WWCC.
- Our coaches need to have excellent communication skills to liaise with players, parents and the club committee.
- The coaches will report directly to the Coaching Coordinator.
- Remuneration may be offered based on experience and qualifications. This can also be a voluntary role for someone who wishes to gain valuable experience in coaching.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan, manage & deliver weekly training sessions
- Attend all season games
- Participate in club presentation night functions
- Attend a coaches meeting twice a season
