The Victorian Fury’s 35-game winning streak has come to an end following a 50-41 defeat to the NNSW Waratahs in Round Three of the Australian Netball League at Hisense Arena on Sunday.
It was their first defeat in more than three years with their unbeaten run dating back to Round One of the 2013 season.
The Waratahs led at every change, gradually increasing the margin at each interval to run out nine-goal victors.
The Fury won the first match of the Round Three double header on Saturday, 60-44.
