Richmond Central Amateur Football and Netball Club


We are urgently looking for an experienced coach for our Open Section 3 team (ages 25-35) currently registered to play the next season at Waverley City Netball Association (runs July – December).


Time commitment includes:

  • Training on Thursdays 7-8.30pm every fortnight in Richmond
  • Games played on Saturday afternoon


This is currently being advertised as an unpaid volunteer role, however if you are interested please enquire and we can discuss remuneration if required.


The Richmond Central Amateur Football and Netball Club has three football teams registered with VAFA and +10 netball teams registered with CitySide Sports. The club recently registered this netball team with Waverley City (first season was Winter 2018) and is looking to grow this part of the club.

Melbourne Waverley Netball Club

Coach Wanted – Under 15s


Melbourne Waverley Netball Club is looking for an eager and motivated coach to join us for the Spring Season (mid July-Dec 18) at the Jells Park complex. Our Under 15 1s play in Section 2 and our 15 2s play in Section 4 and depending on experience it would be for either of these teams.


We currently have 12 Junior teams and are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced coach who can develop our players to be the best they can.  Melbourne Waverley is a Representative netball club providing development opportunities for aspiring netballers in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.

We would request that the coach has minimum Development (or equivalent) Level Coaching Accreditation.

Time commitment would consist of Sunday Training (late afternoon/early evening) 1.5 hour session at Gloria Pyke Netball Complex (Dandenong) and game on Thursday Nights at Jells Park (Glen Waverley). There is no training or games during September School Holidays. We are also looking at possibly doing 2-3 tournaments and on these Sundays there would be no training.

The coach would be expected to plan, manage and conduct weekly training sessions, attend all games, attend coaches meeting twice for the season and attend club presentation night. The coach would need good communication skills to liaise with players, parents and the committee.


This is a paid position dependant on experience.


We are seeking a coach for an immediate start as the season begins mid July.

Yarra Glen Football Netball club


Netball Coach for Season 2019


The Yarra Glen Football Netball club is looking for a quality netball coach to lead the club for Season 2019 and beyond. (The current coach has advised she will not coach in 2019)

The club competes in the 2nd Division of the AFL Yarra Ranges Football Netball League and has strong recent history of success. (e.g. 2017 D Grade Premiers, A Grade Runner Up, B & C in finals)

With 4 Netball Teams, we will require the applicant to assist with the appointment of an assistant coach.

The coach and assistant can be playing or non-playing.

Yarra Glen has excellent facilities and a great group looking for development and a desire to continue to be a part of a successful club. We expect the competition to continue to improve and we want to be at the leading edge of that improvement.

Melbourne University Netball Club



Melbourne University Netball Club is looking for enthusiastic and motivated new coaches to join us for the Spring 2018 season at Parkville.


We have 9 teams that play across Monday and Tuesday nights at the State Netball & Hockey Centre and we train on Thursday nights at the University.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the committee and other coaches to coordinate and conduct selections trials and training sessions before the start of the season.
  • Conduct weekly training sessions (Thursday nights) to help the players develop and the team compete in their respective competitions.
  • Ensure that all players are registered with Netball Victoria before taking to the court.
  • Organise the team(s) for each week, ensuring that there are enough players at each game. Arrange fill-ins as necessary.
  • Looking after the squad equipment – balls and bibs


Time commitment: 4 x team trials/selections, 1 training per week and attendance at games (Monday and/or Tuesday nights).


Remuneration: Paid position

Strathmore Netball Club

Urgently Seeking Experienced Coaches for EDFL NETBALL 2018 season commencing 2nd June

This is the first season for the EDFL FOOTBALL/NETBALL COMPETITION… so you will be part of history!


Coaches will need to have had experience older age players, as this age group will be from 16 and over.

They will be playing in an open age competition.

Minimum of level 1 coaching accreditation is a must.


Requirements:  1 hour training per week, and 1 game per week.  Plan, Manage & Deliver weekly training sessions and attend all season games.

Game Time:        Games are played on Saturday Mornings from  10.30-11.30

Where:                 Charles Mutton Reserve Fawkner…. Brand new outdoor courts.

When:                  Season Commences 2nd June, and training will commence ASAP

Season:                Will be 10-12 weeks plus finals (not played school holidays or long weekends)

Training:               Will be at a venue TBC, on a day that suits the coach

Reporting:           Coaches will report directly to our head coaches


About us:             We fall under the Strathmore Sports Club banner, along with Strathmore Football & Cricket Clubs. Our club currently has 28 teams playing in both the Parkville Competitions and the EDNA competition… and now will be adding another 2-3 teams in the EDFL competition.


Payment Amount:           Will be dependent on experience

Northcote Park Football and Netball Club

Role: Northcote Park Football and Netball Club are seeking an enthusiastic coach(es) for development teams to join our coaching panel in the Northern Football and Netball League (NFNL). This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a group of committed netball players and experienced coaches within a very supportive club environment. You will be working with our coaching team, including Head Coach Aimee Deacon, and seconds coach Kellie Moorcroft. We have two positions available depending on experience and applicant preference to coach our teams in Division 7 and 8 (subject to final grading).

Club Background: Northcote Park is an extremely successful football club which compete in Division 1 of the Northern Football League. This is the sixth year they have entered netball teams in the NFNL and our numbers are growing annually. In 2017 the Northcote Park Cougars had three netballs team who competed in Division 1, 4, and 9 of the NFNL, with Division 9 taking out the Grand Final. In 2018, we will have four teams in Division 1, 5, 7, and 8.

Qualifications and Desirables: Previous coaching experience desired. All applicants must hold or be willing to obtain at least a Foundation Coaching course (online course now available) and will be required to have a current Working with Children Check. We are seeking a coach who is highly motivated, with excellent communication and leadership skills, who works well in teams and is willing to work with our coaching panel. They should have a thorough knowledge of skills and game play, and coach in accordance with Netball Victoria’s Coaching Code of Conduct.

Commitment: Games played on Friday nights at several locations across the Northern suburbs including Bundoora RMIT or Parade College, times vary. Training is held on Thursday nights from 6.30 – 8.30pm at Merrilands Community Centre and Bill Lowry Oval (alternate weeks). Availability at training is desirable. Attendance at Northcote Park Football and Netball Club official and social events is strongly encouraged.

Remuneration: Amount dependent on experience and level of commitment possible.

Newport Power Netball Club

The Newport Power Netball Club is a large local netball club in Melbourne’s inner west. We have around 250 players from U/9-U/17 of varying abilities and are looking to recruit some new coaches to our growing club. Our club values are Learn, Enjoy and Improve.


Our teams train on weeknights at our club courts in Newport for 1 hour per week (the time and day is flexible dependant on the availability of our coaches).

Our matches are played on Saturday afternoons at the Altona Netball Association.


Desirable skills and experience

  • We are looking to for coaches who have some coaching and playing experience. Ideally, we would like our coaches to have obtained their Netball Victoria Level 1 coaching certificate as a minimum.
  • All coaches over the age of 18 will require a WWCC.
  • Our coaches need to have excellent communication skills to liaise with players, parents and the club committee.
  • The coaches will report directly to the Coaching Coordinator.
  • Remuneration may be offered based on experience and qualifications. This can also be a voluntary role for someone who wishes to gain valuable experience in coaching.
