The 2014 Female Youth Leadership Program (FYLP) began last Sunday with four of our young leaders heading to Kinglake Ranges Wilderness Camp.
The FYLP is designed for females who are looking to develop both their leadership and personal development skills within their sports club, Association or the wider community.
It provides the opportunity to network with industry leaders and develop a personal network with other young females going through the same or similar experience with their State Sporting Association.
It is an exciting sports leadership development program tailored specifically for young women who are leaders within their sporting club and organisation.
Participants will undertake a coaching or umpiring accreditation as part of the program and will utilise those skills at their club or Association volunteering 25 hours and assist at Melbourne Vixens match day events.
Netball Victoria participants are: Olivia (Banyule & District Netball Association/SEDA), Caitlin (Colbinabbin Football Netball Club), Maddie (Warrack Eagles Football Netball Club) and Georgina (Lockington Bamawm United Football Netball Club).
