Vixens continue partnership with RACV

Netball Victoria is thrilled to announce the extended partnership with long term community partner RACV Clubs and Resorts.

The decision will see the proud Victorian based company now become the Premier Partner of the Melbourne Vixens for the next three years.

Netball Victoria Chief Executive Officer Michelle Plane said partnering with RACV had been a great success for both organisations and the continued support by RACV to showcase the Vixens in the ANZ Championship had assisted with the overall growth of netball across Victoria.

“RACV, like Netball Victoria, have a proud history and tradition of service supporting a number of Victorians, and we could not be happier that they have taken up this lead partnership role,” Ms Plane said.

“RACV have played an integral role in helping the Melbourne Vixens achieve many goals as a team and we thank them for their supporting of our Victorian team.”

“Netball Victoria and RACV are both long standing, well established, proudly Victorian organisations supporting members and communities. We find this is a very good fit for us and they have been a wonderful partner to work with.

“We have one of Australia’s leading female sporting teams and at Netball Victoria we are extremely passionate about the success of our Melbourne Vixens. Our athletes are exceptional role models for everyone across our great state, so we are delighted to again be partnering with an organisation like RACV who hold similar community values and high standards.”

Sue Blake, Executive General Manager, RACV Club and Resorts, said RACV is delighted to continue its partnership with the Melbourne Vixens, increasing its commitment in 2014 to become the Premier Partner of the Victorian team.

“As iconic Victorian membership organisations, RACV and Netball Victoria both have a strong commitment to growing and developing the tremendously popular sport of netball across the state,” Ms Blake said.

“The partnership continues to provide RACV members with the opportunity to experience elite-level netball, saving 20 per cent on the cost of Melbourne Vixens membership. It also offers discounted entry at Vixens home-games and the chance to be involved in a range of promotions on game day.”

RACV Members and their families also have the opportunity to participate in a number of netball clinics with the Vixen’s players which will be held at RACV Resorts in Victoria.

“RACV’s new partnership will further build on the success of our relationship with Netball Victoria and the Melbourne Vixens, and provides exciting opportunities for each organisation to create further value for members.”
