Community Coaches

Thank you for showing your interest in becoming a Netball Victoria Community Coach.

Netball Victoria is currently looking to recruit experienced coaches to deliver upcoming Sporting Schools netball programs throughout 2024. Coaches are responsible to develop session plans, deliver programs, and clinics and represent Netball Victoria within the community positively and professionally.

By becoming a Community Coach, you will be contacted when opportunities to deliver netball arise in your area. Opportunities could be as simple as a 1-hour program or as large as a school requiring multiple sessions on a day throughout a term. Opportunities and hours are greatly variable depending on your location, school terms and overall interest. Hours can be throughout the school day before school or after school. It will all depend on each schools’ curriculum and their flexibility in a term. This position would be perfect for any students studying, part-time workers and stay at home parents.

Community Coach may also be offered opportunities to deliver Community Clinics or Train Like A Vixen Clinics as required.

Coaches are paid per hour of delivery. Travel is not included.

Requirements

-       Experience in coaching netball (confident delivering to 10 to 30 participants)

-       Foundation Coach Accreditation

-       Netball Victoria Member

-       Working With Children Check (employee is preferred)

-       Driver’s Licence

-       Available Weekdays
