To be eligible to participate in Marie Little Shield, athletes must:
•	Identify as female
•	Have an intellectual impairment
•	Be a current Netball Victoria member
•	Be aged 16 years or older in the year the competition is held
•	Hold a Sport Inclusion Australia (SIA) number/membership

If an athlete does not currently have an SIA number, please refer to the attached Guidance Notes document, which outlines the eligibility and application process.

Please note, athletes may be participating in either a mainstream netball competition or an all-abilities program and do not need to be part of an all-abilities team to be eligible to participate in MLS.
