First Nations State Team

Following a successful pilot in 2024, the First Nations Tournament is now a permanent fixture on the national netball calendar.

The tournament features under-23 aged teams from every state and territory as they compete across five days of competition.  The 2026 tournament will take place from Wednesday 16 to Sunday 20 September. The location is still to be confirmed by Netball Australia.

Netball Victoria commits to fostering a safe and inclusive environment where First Nations women and girls are respected and valued throughout the tournament and within the netball community.
