2026 Netball Victoria Board Elections
Netball Victoria is calling for interested and suitable applicants for the 2026 Board elections. There are four (4) positions available for elected directors, with each position being for a three-year term.
Preferred Director Skills and Experience
Experience in one or more of the following skills is desirable but not essential:
Data and Information Technology
Expertise in data management, analytics, and information technology. This includes experience in leveraging technology for operational efficiency, cybersecurity awareness, and understanding digital transformation strategies, transition, and implementation to support organisational growth.
Commercial and/or business accounting
Strong commercial acumen and/or accounting and finance experience. This includes understand budgeting, financial reporting, risk management, and strategic business planning to ensure sound financial governance and sustainable performance.
Legal and/or governance
Those with legal qualifications or governance experience. This includes knowledge of compliance, regulatory frameworks, board responsibilities, and best-practice governance principles to uphold transparency and accountability.
Netball Victoria’s Directors must be leaders who are ready to lead change and are prepared to be challenged for the good of the sport we love.
