Female Talent Identification (TID):

Each year Netball Victoria will appointment talent scouts who will conduct TID at Netball Victoria competitions and events, including Association Championships & State Titles. Scouts hold a minimum of an Intermediate Coaching Accreditation and have completed Netball Australia Select for Netball Success online learning. These scouts are viewing athletes in a match play setting and are assessing their talent currently as well as athlete potential in the future.

Should an athlete be TID’d they will then be invited to trial for the appropriate program (outlines below) where they will undergo an intensive selection progress.

Athletes / coaches/ leagues/ associations can also submit a Talented Player Nomination form, where athletes will then be screened (where possible, by an independent coach) before being invited to trial for any of the below programs.

Talent Identification nominations close on the 31st of August and are accepted for female athletes only.
