Monash University Netball Club is a vibrant and inclusive community, welcoming individuals from all walks of life. With six teams competing in the Monday night league at Waverley Netball Centre, ranging from Premier League to Division 4, we offer a competitive yet supportive environment where players can excel both on and off the court.
Your Role: As one of our valued coaches, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our club's culture and guiding our players to success. Your responsibilities will include:
- Attending Monday night games at Waverley Netball Centre and Thursday night training sessions at Monash Sport, Clayton.
- Planning and executing engaging training sessions. Participating in yearly trials and team selections.
- Providing mentorship and support to players, fostering their growth and development.
- Maintaining open communication with players regarding their progress and any concerns they may have.

- Have a positive attitude and a willingness to embrace our diverse community.
- Demonstrate a genuine love for netball and a desire to share their knowledge and expertise.
- Be adaptable and proactive in overcoming challenges.
- Prior coaching experience is desirable but not essential; we welcome enthusiastic individuals eager to learn and grow with us.
- Possess or be willing to obtain coaching accreditation (assistance provided). Availability across the two netball seasons (Autumn: January - June, Spring: July - December).

Typical Game Day Information: Training Thursday night 6;30-8pm at Marna St Courts -Saturday’s 12:30 & 1:45 games played Home & Away venues.
Other Supporting Information: DFNC is currently seeking a passionate & dedicated coach for A & B grades. Dromana competes in the highly regarded and competitive MPFNL We invite applicants from all experience levels and will consider someone who is wanting to develop their coaching skills in a supportive environment and wanting to take their coaching role to the next level.
The Role will include:
- Lead and inspire our A & B grade teams
- Attend trainings with well managed plans & training sessions
- Foster a positive and team culture - Collaborate with players, assistants, and club management
- Support player development and team success
- Player reviews throughout the season
We are looking for
- Enthusiasm and commitment to player growth
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Previous coaching experience and a passion to be a part of the Dromana community.
