Netball Victoria Administration Program

Why this program matters

Community netball relies on dedicated volunteers. Increasing compliance requirements, governance expectations and participation growth are placing significant pressure on local committees.

The Netball Victoria Administration Program addresses these issues by:

Strengthening governance foundations
Building practical administration capability
Supporting the transition to paid administration models
Reducing administrative workload on volunteers
Creating employment pathways and regional workforce opportunities within community sport

The result is stronger, more sustainable netball organisations across Victoria.

How the program works

The program is delivered through a three-stage model.

Stage 1 – Committee Development

Affiliate Uplift Workshops support associations, leagues and clubs to review governance practices, clarify roles and plan sustainable administration pathways.

Stage 2 – Administrator Education

Netball Administration Workshops provide practical, netball-specific training for volunteer and emerging administrators, building confidence in core administrative functions.

Stage 3 – Paid Administration Support

Targeted funding assists affiliates to implement paid administration models, embedding sustainable structures and strengthening local workforce capability.
