Netball Connect allows Associations and Leagues the opportunity to display a sponsorship advertising banner for each competition they run. The Sponsor’s Banner appears on the Netball Connect app when a participant is viewing fixtures, ladders, etc so really great exposure to your community. ANZAC Day Tournaments
ANZAC Day - Monday 25 April 2022.
The Victorian Government is working with all sporting codes and the Returned & Services League (RSL) to accommodate the playing of sport on ANZAC Day. The intent is to honour the significance of ANZAC Day and all those who have served our country.
The ANZAC Day Act 1958 prohibits the holding of sporting events to which persons are required to pay an admission fee or make a donation in order to watch sport, without the written approval of the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events.
If your Association or League is planning on running netball competition where an admission fee is required to be paid please complete the attached form. Any club or association wanting to charge an admission fee will need to send the details of their competition through to Netball Victoria and we will request a blanket approval from the Minister on your behalf. Get Active Kids Voucher
Associations and clubs can now register to become a Get Active Kids activity provider. As a registered provider, associations and clubs will be able to accept Get Active Kids vouchers and support their members to gain access to a voucher up to the value of $200. The voucher can help to support membership and club fees, uniform and equipment costs. To be eligible to register, associations and clubs must be affiliated with Netball Victoria, must be a registered, incorporated entity and must have an active Australian Business Number (ABN).

Child Safety Standard 6 refers to developing strategies to identify and reduce or remove risks of child abuse.
With disruption to usual operations due to Covid, it’s time to ensure you reinstate Child Safety plans and processes and to undertake a risk management review to identify and reduce the potential harms to children.
