Volunteering Victoria – Find resources for recruiting and manager volunteers on the Volunteering Victoria website.There is also a comprehensive section called Volunteer Management Toolkit which has a lot of valuable information to assist in volunteer management.
Play By The Rules – Play by the Rules provides information, resources, tools and free online training to increase the capacity and capability of administrators, coaches, officials, players, parents and spectators to assist them in preventing and dealing with discrimination, harassment, child safety, inclusion and integrity issues in sport.
VicSport – VicSport provides advice, assistance and support to its members and the broader sports community. Through their extensive network, VicSport’s constituency includes 16,000 clubs and associations, and over 3.25 million participants, paid staff and volunteers who make a significant contribution to the social, physical, mental and economic wellbeing of the Victorian community.
VicSport Child Safe Standards – VicSport is committed to providing support and up-to-date resources to assist sporting organisations to meet the Standards, and identify if the culture and environment within their organisation is supportive and protective of children.
Sport & Recreation Victoria – Sport & Recreation Victoria are dedicated to supporting Victoria’s sport and recreation sector and inspiring Victorians to get active. This site is particularly useful for grants and funding and has an excellent publications and resources section.
Sport & Recreation Victoria Fair Play Code – The Victorian Government’s new Fair Play Code – a code of conduct for sport and recreation in Victoria, outlines the standards of behaviour expected for everyone involved in sport and recreation. At the heart of the code are the five core values that will lead to fair play for all – integrity – respect – responsibility – fairness – safety.
Good Sports – Good Sports gives local sporting clubs access to the tools, resources and support they need so they can get on with enjoying their sport.
