2026 Gippsland Showcase

Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium is hosting the start of the Victorian Netball League season with blockbuster matches to begin our biggest season yet. 

Victorian Netball League clubs Gippsland Stars, Peninsula Waves, Casey Demons and Wilson Storage Southern Saints will all feature in their round one matches on Sunday 15 March

Held on Gunaikurnai Country thanks to the support of the Victorian Government and Latrobe City Council.

  • 11am – Gippsland Stars vs Peninsula Waves (23&Under) | Court 3 
  • 12.30pm – Gippsland Stars vs Peninsula Waves (Champ) | Court 3
  • 12.30pm – Casey Demons vs Wilston Storage Southern Saints (23&Under) | Court 2
  • 12.30pm – Coaching and umpiring workshop | Function room/courtside – BOOK TICKETS
  • 2.00pm – Casey Demons vs Wilson Storage Southern Saints (Champ) | Court 3

  • All tickets provide single day access 
  • No reserved seating, general admission only 
  • Ticket prices: 
    Adult/Concession $8 
    Junior (14 years & under) $4 
    Family (2 adults + 2 juniors) $20

GETTING THERE 

Whether it be by car, public transport, taxi or rideshare, there are several transport options for your journey to Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium. 
 

PUBLIC TRANSPORT 

The V/Line operates rail services to Traralgon Railway Station including Bairnsdale, Batemans Bay, Canberra, Marlo, Melbourne, Paynesville and Sale train lines.

Getting to Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium (GRISS) from Traralgon Railway Station:

Route 1: leaving from Traralgon Railway Station bus stop and heading straight down the highway towards Morwell. Get off the bus at the Washington Street/Princes Highway stop. Cross the road. Walk down Washington Street, left into McCallum Lane and around Catterick Crescent to arrive at GRISS (approx. 10-minute walk). 
 
Route 41: Walk from Traralgon Railway Station straight down Franklin Street to the bus stop at Traralgon Centre Plaza (approx. 10-minute walk). There are 2 stops close by to GRISS – Garibaldi St/Kosciusko St OR Washington St/Garibaldi St. Both stops are only a short walk along Garibaldi Street to GRISS.

CAR 

There is limited free parking available at Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium.
