INTRODUCTION TO UMPIRING

Aimed at participants with some knowledge of rules but little or no umpiring experience, the Introduction to Umpiring workshop is great for new beginner umpires.  Topics include characteristics of a good umpires, using the whistle and hand signals to communicate, infringements and sanctions, and umpire positioning on court.  All ages welcome to participate.

What to bring: Whistle & band, notebook & pen, water bottle.

What to wear: Comfortable active wear, runners.

Registrations close: 12pm, 9th April 2025
