Position descriptions

A position description is a powerful and necessary tool in every organisation. It clearly outlines the responsibilities, skills, personal qualities and time that will be required for the role.

A position description should include a:

• Job title
• Name of the organisation
• Duties and responsibilities
• Hours, frequency and dates required
• knowledge and skills required
• induction details (when the position starts and ends and any details regarding the induction process)
