The return of community netball across Victoria has seen many clubs relishing the opportunity to get back out on court and build new connections within their communities.
With the help of the WorkSafe Club Safety Fund, netball clubs across the state have received financial assistance to improve the safety of their facilities for players, volunteers, and spectators.
The Fund provides up to $1,500 per application to assist clubs to create a safer environment for their netball community, including updating or installing equipment like post padding, defibrillators and first aid kits. The Fund can also contribute to permanent and portable structures such as shelter sheds for umpires, fences and walkways along with minor facility maintenance.
