Netball Victoria's gender regulation & tournaments
The member services team has been receiving an increased amount of feedback in relation to the gender regulation and the fact that there still might be some confusion out there in the Netball community particularly with tournaments. When the Regulation was written, tournaments were envisioned as a competition – i.e. a standalone competition that a team would register for if interested. Affilates offering tournaments with their own divisions, rules of entry etc, can run these comps how they like but you MUST apply the gender regulation.
This link takes you to a simple reference guide that will assist you in understanding the regulation and supports the correct labelling of competitions. If you have are in any doubt or would like to seek clarity, please do not hesitate to contact your regional contacts or the member services team on 9321 2255

Single game vouchers now online
Moving in line with Netball Victoria’s focus to have all registrations completed online, we are now applying this to single game vouchers (SGV’s) in 2019. This has been trailed by a number of our affiliates over the past few months with great success. As a result, single game voucher booklets have been phased out and will no longer be available to purchase. There is a buy back program for those affiliates who have unused vouchers purchased from Netball Victoria in 2018. Complete the attached single game voucher booklet buy back form and send it to us with the unused booklets by Friday the 31 May. Please note no refunds will be given after this date.
We have created two quick reference guides to assist affiliates and their members in relation to SGV’s going online. The first guide attached labelled Setting Up Single Game Vouchers is aimed at the Association/League and how they set it up in MyNetball. The second guide labelled Purchasing a Single Game Voucher explains to the individual player how they purchase a SGV online. One of the advantages of going online is that a SGV can be purchased prior to game day therefore alleviating some of the administration prior to a match commencing. Included in the guide for setting up SGV’s is an explanation on how to track who has purchased a SGV for any given match.
The price of a SGV remains unchanged at $10.00 (plus transaction fee) in 2019. The introduction of the split payments system means that money will come directly to Netball Victoria and no invoicing will be necessary. In the event an SGV is purchased but the person does not play there will be no refund and the SGV is not transferable.
If you have any questions about this process please do not hesitate to contact your regional contact or the member services team on 9321 2255
