We are very happy to report all but a few Associations and Leagues have completed training in Netball Connect, and have access to the system ready to set up 2022 competitions. A reminder we have manuals, guides and videos to assist you in using the system. Click here to review.
Volunteer to paid
Netball Victoria is seeing a trend in the netball community where paid administrators are being engaged and boards are being created as the people governing netball recognise the ongoing opportunity to change and transform the way netball is administered. With the increasing number of affiliates engaging paid workforce Netball Victoria has been working on providing resources and support. These resources will be developed and added here.
MyNetball Access Update
We recently received advice from Netball Australia the date of last access to MyNetball has been brought forward to the 1st December. Affiliates running competitions into December will still have access to MyNetball to see the competition out and then access will be removed.
Please ensure you download reports from MyNetball prior to the 1st of December. Click here to follow the step-by-step processes to download key reports and data from MyNetball.
MyNetball Websites
With the decommissioning of MyNetball fast approaching in December this year, any Association or League with a MyNetball website will no longer have access to their site.
It is important to start this transition now. Netball Victoria has created two templates using WIX, one of which can be transferred to you to use as the foundation of you new website. If you would like to take advantage of this solution, please review this document to begin setup.
Child safety
With the imminent return to Netball, this is a timely reminder that the Netball Victoria Child Safety in Netball Policy requires all affiliates to ensure every adult (18 years and older) who hold a position of responsibility or authority with children hold a current and valid Working with Children Check.
Before the return to play conduct a review of all committee members, coaches, umpires, officials, team managers and other senior officials to ensure valid and current WWCCs are held. Comprehensive information regarding the regulation is detailed in the Child Safety in Netball Policy and referenced in the Child Safety in Netball Code of Conduct.
2022 Affiliation and Membership Policy
2022 Netball Victoria Affiliation and Membership Policy – Deadline of 1st November has now passed. Please login to your CRM as soon as possible to accept the 2022 Affiliation and Membership Policy. NOTE: You may see a message in green “Approval Not Required” this is an internal message. Please follow the process to agree to and approve the policy.
Multicultural leadership program
Netball Victoria and the Centre for Multicultural Youth are offering a FREE online leadership opportunity for our Multicultural community.
If you are a player, coach, club official or new to netball and want to embrace your diversity and gain confidence to lead, this program will empower you and connect you with a range of support.
Dates:
Day 1: Wednesday 24th November Online 11am-12.30pm OR 6.30pm- 8pm
Day 2: Sunday 28th November Face to Face Session 11am-3pm (Lunch provided).
Location to be confirmed in Melbourne.

KGI Aboriginal Program
Netball Victoria and the Korin Gamadji Institute Program
We encourage all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls between 13 and 17 years to attend our online 2 hour program to develop leadership skills, cultural connection and explore coaching and umpiring opportunities.
Program benefits:
