SPOTLIGHT ON TAYLAH BROWN – FURY
Coming off the back of an outstanding season with Boroondara Express in the Victorian Netball League, midcourter Taylah Brown will be eager to showcase her relentless defensive pressure when she takes on Tasmania Wild. Brown, who was named in the VNL Championship division Team of the Year, was instrumental in her side’s run to the Championship Grand Final and will be just as crucial for Fury. Her ability to read play and pinpoint passing make her a key cog in any side she represents, and she’ll need to continue her form when she comes up against the Wild midcourters.
SPOTLIGHT ON SHELBY MILLER – WILD
Midcourter Shelby Miller brings a breadth of experience to the Tasmania Wild side and will be one to watch this ANC. Miller captains the Cavaliers Open division in the Tasmanian Netball League and has also played in an Australian Netball League championship for the Tasmanian Magpies. The midcourter plays across centre, wing attack and wing defence, and continuously showcases her netball smarts and speed whenever she takes to court. It’s likely that Brown and Miller will go head-to-head in the middle, so keep an eye out for an exciting battle between the two midcourters.
