The Emerging Leaders Program will commence on Saturday 16 April prior to the Melbourne Vixens first home game of the 2016 ANZ Championship against the Queensland Firebirds.
As one of the standout female leadership programs within Victoria the day will comprise of a meet and greet, followed by a Women in Leadership cocktail function prior to Saturday’s match.
It will be the first of three face-to-face sessions to be conducted throughout 2016.
The Emerging Leaders program is all about the individual and focuses on their development particularly in terms of leadership, confidence and empowerment.
Netball Victoria is proud to be in partnership with Smash Enterprises, who is major supporter of the Emerging Leaders Program. Without their ongoing support programs like this simply could not take place.
“The Emerging Leaders Program is a fantastic opportunity for women within our netball community to partake in a valuable, capacity building program with other likeminded individuals who have a shared passion for developing netball,” Netball Victoria Acting CEO Katie Reaper said.
“The Program allows participants to interact and network with other administrators and volunteers from across the state and is facilitated by some very experienced and well respected industry experts.’”
“Everyone that has participated in the Program in the past has found the experience exceptionally valuable and rewarding and this year’s Program promises to provide the same outcome.”
