Registration setup refresher session
This session will review the setup and opening of Registrations for your 2023 Competitions. This training will become relevant once your Association/League has opened their 2023 competitions, which they will communicate to you accordingly.

Affiliate Finder
The ‘Affiliate Finder’ allows for members of the community to find a competition that fits their search criteria.
Update your organisations ‘Affiliate Finder’ parameters so that your competitions populate when they match search criteria.
Select the User Module -> hover over ‘Administrators’ and select ‘Our Organisation’ -> select ‘Affiliate Finder’ & update your details -> save the page.
Child Safety
Child Safety Action Plan Training Session
Hopefully someone from your organisation was able to attend the Netball Victoria Child Safeguarding Webinar Series – Creating an Action Plan session in September 2022. The session covered the key resources required to create your action plan, and examples of the type of thinking that your organisation can employ to complete the plan.

VicSport – Child Safe Clubs Session
VicSport will be holding a free 90-minute webinar that will be run outside of regular work hours, which will focus on a number of key considerations for clubs when creating child safe environments. The session will incorporate practical strategies, and time will be made for a Q&A.
The key takeaways will include
- An overview of the 11 Victorian Child Safe Standards
- An outline on what is required by clubs to meet the Standards.
- Key support services and resources to assist clubs.

2023 Netball Vic Memberships

As you know, the price for Single Game Vouchers were reduced in 2022. We would like to remind everyone that Single Game Vouchers will only cover a play for ONE game and will not cover the player for training.
Individuals registering under Single Game Vouchers are not members of Netball Victoria and are not entitled to member benefits other than personal accident insurance for the nominated game. Please also note that 2022 Memberships will close on 30th of November.
Game Development Conference
Save the date! Further details surrounding the Game Development Conference set for February 2023 will be released shortly. Sessions will be available both online via Zoom and will cumulate in a face-to-face day at the State Netball Centre in Parkville.
Development Coach Accreditations
All coaches at the 2023 Association Championships and State Titles are required to hold a minimum Development Coach Accreditation.
Netball Victoria have a limited number of complimentary vouchers to assist coaches to reach this level of accreditation. Vouchers can be used to complete the Development Coach Online Course and Rules of Netball Exam (2 out of 3 parts of the accreditation).
To be eligible, coaches must hold a current Foundation Coaches Accreditation, and vouchers must be redeemed by the 30th of November 2022.
