Melbourne Vixens athlete Emily Mannix, who played as a junior in the Association Championships for the Bellarine and District Netball Association, has shared her personal health tips with aspiring young netballers competing in the 2015 Association Championships.
Now in its 16th year of competition, the Association Championships provides players from Victoria’s 225 netball Associations the opportunity to compete in what has become a crucial part of the Netball Victoria talent pathway.
The competition kicked off on Sunday 31 May in Knox, Warrnambool and Echuca with winning Associations in each division listed here.
In the lead up to the next round of Association Championships in Essendon, Albury and Leongatha on Sunday 14 June, competitors are being encouraged to post pictures of their competition preparation on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with #lumochamps.
The person who posts the best picture will be rewarded with $250 for themselves and $250 for their team with thanks to Lumo Energy, proud sponsor of the Association Championships.
