The 2022 Marie Little Shield fixture has been released with our Victorian athletes eager to take it one step further this year and bring home the gold medal.
After a two-year hiatus from the competition, state rivalry will be at an all-time high with the teams set to play eight rounds across three days, with the winners announced on the Friday afternoon.
Round 1 starts on Wednesday 26 October and will see us take on old foes, NSW at 11.05am before getting a break in Round 2. We then jump back into a match against Queensland for the final game of the day on Wednesday.
The intensity will kick up a notch on Thursday 27 October, with the Victorians opening their campaign against the Northern Territory in the morning before moving onto Western Australia in the 1.45pm timeslot. The final game of the day pits us against ACT.
We will be hoping that a well-earned rest will give us the legs and energy for our blockbuster game against reigning champions South Australia on the final day of play.
