After a silver medal finish at the 2024 Marie Little Shield tournament, the Victorian All Abilities team is back with renewed energy and a clear goal: to go one better in 2025.
Now, with a fresh line-up of returning veterans and new faces, Victoria is ready to build on their success and make their mark once again.
Let’s meet the athletes who will be taking the court in 2025, ready to push for the championship and create new memories along the way:
THE GOALERS
Emma Daffy – Captain – GA / GS
Geelong Football Netball League / AFL Barwon All-Abilities League
A seasoned player with a sharp netball IQ, Emma’s powerful presence and precision shooting make her a standout. After earning Player of the Tournament honours in the past, she has been named captain this year, bringing her trademark intensity and encouragement to every game.
Erin Munckton – GS / GA
Drouin and District Netball Association
Erin continues to shine as a young star with vast experience under her belt. First selected at 16, she’s known for her baseline drives and unique shooting style, rarely missing from the circle. Unfortunately, Erin has sustained an injury and will be unable to compete at the Marie Little Shield this year. However, she remains a valued member of the squad and will continue to participate in the team environment.
Tilly Zegir – GS / GA
Bayside and District Netball Association
Having made her debut in 2024, Tilly is back this season with even more determination. A dynamic goal shooter with quick feet and excellent accuracy, she’s ready to build on last year’s success and show her potential on the big stage.
Laura Sutherland – GS / GA
Bayside and District Netball Association
Laura has been elevated to the 2025, replacing an injured Erin Munckton. A steady presence in attack, Laura’s ability to adapt and take on feedback from coaches makes her a consistent performer. Her strong ball skills and willingness to push herself make her a player to watch as she continues to develop.
THE MIDCOURTERS
Rachael Potter – Vice-captain - C / WA
Melbourne East Netball Association
Now in her sixth season, Rachael leads the team with relentless energy and a fierce desire for success. A cross-code athlete with exceptional speed, she’s an athletic, dynamic midcourter and continues to be the motivating force both on and off the court.
Darcie Delahunty – Vice-captain – C / WD / WA
Bayside and District Netball Association
Returning for her third season, Darcie’s defensive prowess and versatility across multiple midcourt positions have made her a key player. Now serving as vice-captain for the second year, she’s known for her tenacity in turning over ball and smooth transitions down court.
Jess Weinberg – WA / C / GS
AFL Barwon All-Abilities League
Making her return to the program in 2025, Jess combines strong skills with a keen understanding of the game. Her passes are precise, her moves are deceptive, and she always knows exactly how to open up the court for her team.
THE DEFENDERS
Sky Grace – GK / GD
Warrnambool City Netball Association
Sky’s 'never say die' attitude and unrelenting body-on-body pressure make her an invaluable defender. A veteran who travels from Warrnambool each week, she brings unwavering commitment to every training session and match.
Ashlea Rollason – GD / GK / WD
Loddon Valley Football Netball League
A key defensive player with a relentless drive, Ashlea continues to impress with her attacking style and ball-hunting determination. Her strong front positioning and desire to improve ensure she’s a crucial player in Victoria’s team once again.
Jessica McCulloch – GD / GK
Dandenong Netball Association
After securing a gold and silver medal, Jessica returns for her third season with her trademark defensive strength. A cross-code talent, her basketball background gives her a unique edge in intercepting and reading the play, making her a formidable presence on the court.
Jazmyn Ponting – GK / GD

Making her debut this year, Jazmyn is an exciting new talent. She continues to impress with her reading of the play and consistent effort on court. A tireless worker with a thirst for knowledge, she is always striving to improve her game.
DEVELOPMENT SQUAD
Amey Batchelor – WD / C / GK

It's Amey's first year in the Marie Little Shield squad, and she has worked tirelessly to refine her skills. Her impressive passing accuracy and constant pressure in defence makers her a dynamic player who can play many positions.
Holly O’Sullivan – WA / GA
Bayside and District Netball Association
Versatile and always team-first, Holly can fill multiple positions in attack. Her positive attitude and strong play around the circle edge make her a consistent and valuable contributor to the team.
Lola Paterson – GS / GA / WA
Bayside and District Netball Association
One of the most energetic players in the squad, Lola’s dynamic movement and pressure on the ball make her a bright prospect for the future. Her height and speed add a unique edge to Victoria’s midcourt.
Mycalie James – WD / C
Leongatha District Netball Association
A new addition to the squad this year, Mycalie brings an infectious source of energy and joy. She brings her passion and tireless work ethic to every game, making her an invaluable member of the squad.
