The Netball Victoria newsletter is being sent to all netballers who registered in 2020. Despite the status of your season and how your engagement in netball looks this year we’d like to stay in touch!
Netball Victoria continues to monitor government announcements regarding the roadmap towards easing restrictions, and a return to community netball. Through the sacrifices of all Victorians we are moving closer to different stages of a return in regional Victoria and in the future, metropolitan Melbourne. The Return to Community Netball guidelines and resources will be updated here. With each change in restriction it is necessary for us to process the accompanying detail to ensure we can provide the appropriate advice for your safe return. Netball Victoria will provide updated resources specific to regional and metropolitan areas that will endorse community netball activity when we have the required detail to be able to do so.

Introduction to Umpiring and Coaching Workshops - Coming Soon
These introductory workshops have been developed specifically as online education for beginner umpires and coaches.
The Worksafe Umpires in the Field - Introduction to Umpiring is a guide to starting off on your umpiring pathway. It covers expectations of beginner umpires, how to use a whistle effectively, hand signals and infringements, and positioning on the court. It also allows time for questions that otherwise might go unanswered being away from the court in the current restrictions!
The Introduction to Coaching - Coach Development Workshop is the first step into the world of coaching. It looks at 'The Coach Approach' and player-centred coaching, characteristics of a coach, and a coach's responsibilities.
Keep an eye on the NV calendar for workshops in the coming weeks - click here to view!
