Netball Victoria and the Melbourne Vixens are strapping themselves in for another successful year in 2020, both on and off the court. With the health and wellbeing of their grassroots to elite athletes at the forefront of their minds, Netball Victoria are pleased to announce a new three-year partnership with Strapit Sportstapes.
As the official Sports Medical & Rehabilitation Appliance Partner of Netball Victoria and the Melbourne Vixens until 2022, athletes will have access to specialised medical and sports supplies. With a wide variety of sports strapping tapes, ranging from underwrap to hypoallergenic and thumb tapes, as well as elastic adhesive and cohesive bandages, the players will be well equipped with professional sports equipment that will assist to prevent injuries and further improve player performance.
Highlighting the importance of athlete wellbeing from a young age, the Strapit partnership will extend along the Netball Victoria pathway, supporting the training sessions, major events and tournaments of the Victorian representative teams and academies. Netball Victoria Affiliates and Clubs will also have access to a number of member benefits over the course of the three-year deal.
Netball Victoria’s General Manager Vixens, Performance and Pathways, Rebekah Webster, said she was proud to align with a business who share similar values, with Strapit showing an interest in enriching and supporting the Victorian netball community from grassroots to the elite level.
