Nominations for the 2020 Netball Victoria Community Awards are now open, with members of the netball community encouraged to nominate someone within their Club, Association or League who have made a significant contribution to the sport.
There is no doubt that 2020 has been and will continue to be a challenging year for the netball community, but this is an opportunity to celebrate and recognise significant achievements that have still occurred under extremely difficult circumstances.
The growth and development of netball within Victoria is at the heart of everything we do, and we are excited to highlight the great work of our Victorian netball community.
This year there are eight award categories available, with all nominations to be made online and submitted by Friday 30 October, 2020.
This year’s award categories are:
- NetSetGO Centre of the Year presented by Cadbury Fundraising
- Inclusive Netball Community of the Year presented by RACV
- Volunteer of the Year presented by Origin
- Contribution to Umpiring Award presented by WorkSafe
- Coaching Excellence Award presented by Jetport Airport Parking
- Association/League of the Year presented by Flight Centre
- School of the Year presented by Supacore
- WorkSafe Initiative Award
