1. Club Essentials and Association/League and Club Resource Kit – Member Services (Nikki Cooke and Jen Camilleri)
NV recognises that Association, League and Club volunteers and administrators make a significant contribution to the Victorian Netball community. We acknowledge that the demands on volunteers and administrators is increasing but without the dedication of our workforce, netball would not continue to thrive and exist as we know it. NV values our affiliates, their clubs and teams and as a result we have developed a Resource Kit to further support the operations and growth of our netball community. The session will explore and discuss components of the resource (i.e. Volunteer Management, MyNetball, Governance, Training and Support Services) and how it can benefit your organisation.
2. Stakeholder/Industry panel with representatives from Local and State government – Strategic Projects and Regional Development (Amanda Basu)
A panel of Local and State Government representatives will discuss sport and the role they play in engaging with local Associations and Clubs. See their perspective on grants, what they look for in applications, what they expect from their local sporting groups and how they can help you to grow your Association.
3. Pathways (Bek Webster)
NV will provide an overview of the athlete, coach, and umpire pathways before delving into the strategies to transition coaches and umpires through the Accreditation framework to benefit your Association.
11:30am – NV Forum: Second break out session (when registering, please choose only one from this session)
1. Media (promotion and marketing of your product) – Media and PR (Lauren Monger)
Want to promote your club and its activities but don’t have the tools you need or know where to begin? Netball Victoria can assist with resources, tips and advice to help you share your news effectively and professionally.
2. Netball Victoria participation products (Nikki Burgess and Kaylea McQuade)
The participation team will be showcasing our product offerings; Fast5 and RockUpNetball, in an informative and interactive session. If you are looking to provide casual, social opportunities for women in your community, or want to spice up your netball offering, this session is for you. Our team will provide you with all the essential information to help you get started.
3. Netball Victoria’s State-wide Facilities Strategy (Mel Taylor)
NV will provide an overview of and share with you the findings, strategic direction and future facility demands as identified through our 10-year State-wide Facilities Strategy.
