Netball Victoria has today published its 2023-26 Strategic Plan, outlining a clear strategy to consolidate and build on netball’s position as a leader for sport participation for all Victorians.
Developed in consultation with stakeholders from across the Victorian netball community, the plan houses key strategic pillars focused on driving growth, inclusion, investment and building capacity and capability from grassroots to elite programs.
The plan highlights Netball Victoria’s commitment to championing netball as a sport for all, and inspiring a lifelong love of netball in a diverse and inclusive audience and participation base across the state.
“We want to be the sport of choice for all Victorians, from grassroots participation to watching and supporting our athletes at the elite level,” said Netball Victoria CEO Andrea Pearman.
“Our game has been played across the state for over 100 years – in that time netball has continued to evolve, creating important shared spaces and experiences for Victorians of varying ages, abilities, identities, and backgrounds.”
“This plan outlines a clear pathway to strengthening our position as a leader in sport for women and girls, while driving innovation and change to ensure we adapt to reach new audiences and grow our offering to service an inclusive and expansive participation base.”
