Netball Victoria is delighted to announce the athletes who have been named in its Elite Development Squad.
With the 2020 Deakin University Australian Netball League and 2020 National Netball Championships cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Elite Development Squad will commence concurrently with the VNL season to continue to focus on athlete development throughout the Netball Victoria pathway in 2020.
Featuring 33 athletes from both the 2020 Victorian Fury and 19/U and 17/U state squads, the program aims to provide development and specialist trainings across two squads, providing opportunities for the state’s most promising athletes to work on their individual development at an elite level, while supporting the Netball Victoria pathway.
