Netball Australia has announced the twelve strong team selected to represent Australia at the 2025 Netball World Youth Cup in Gibraltar this September, featuring three Victorians in the team and one as a reserve.
The Netball World Youth Cup is held every four years and showcases the best 21/U talent from around the globe. Twenty teams will compete in the event, taking place from Friday, 19 September 2025 across ten days.
After a thorough selection process spanning multiple training camps, the final team for Australia comprises a cohort of athletes equipped to take on the challenges of international competition.
Australia has a proud history at the Netball World Youth Cup, having claimed four titles since the tournament’s inception in 1988.
One of the selected players on the hunt to contribute to the nation’s continued success is Lily Graham.
Graham, a standout across the Melbourne Vixens’ Suncorp Super Netball finals campaign, earned valuable court time throughout the season, including playing a pivotal role in the heart-stopping Preliminary Final victory.
“It’s a privilege to represent your country, and to do it with a squad full of so much talent is really exciting,” Graham said.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity and looking forward to building on our connections as a group to see what we can achieve together in Gibraltar.”
