Round 1 of the 2022/23 MLeague season is set to take place at the State Netball Centre this Wednesday 5 October.
Run by the Victorian Men’s and Mixed Netball Association (VMMNA) since it was established in 2006, MLeague is the state’s premier men’s and mixed netball competition.
This season will be the largest in the League’s 16-year history with over 40 teams competing across six divisions, including men’s, mixed and junior (14/Under and 17/Under) competitions.
The format offers an opportunity for the state’s best men’s and mixed netballers to compete weekly alongside some of our brightest emerging talent.
MLeague boasts numerous elite Victorian and Australian representative players throughout the six divisions, including Australian Men’s Open squad members Tim Malmo, Brodie Roberts, Riley Richardson and Alastair Punshon.
Victoria will be strongly represented when the Australian Men’s squad hits the big stage in October, set to play historic curtain raiser matches against the New Zealand and England men’s sides at the Diamonds’ international fixtures – the upcoming Constellation Cup and England Series.
The 2022/23 MLeague season will run for 15 regular rounds, with finals taking place in February. We encourage all netball fans to head to the State Netball Centre on a Wednesday evening to experience the pace, athleticism and excitement on display!
