Shepparton’s St Luke’s Catholic School had a special delivery on Tuesday 14 March, with the school receiving a bag of new netballs as part of the School Championships’ Early Bird competition.
St Luke’s was the winner of the competition, registering early for the School Championships (prior to the Christmas Break), which they have competed in for the last three years.
The students said they were looking forward to the championship, with their region’s tournament taking place in Bendigo on 26 July.
“It’s super exciting to be playing in the competition,” a student from the school said.
“We are looking forward to watching the secondary school teams, and hope to learn some new skills.”
