Squads have been finalised ahead of the upcoming 2023 Australian Netball Championships (ANC), with Victorians named to compete across 5 teams at the August tournament.
In addition to the Victorian Fury, the Collingwood Magpies, Firebirds Futures, West Coast Fever Reserves and Northern Territory Storm sides will all feature Victorian talent.
The Magpies’ squad includes 2023 Collingwood Super Netball training partners and additional Victorian-based athletes, and will be coached by former Collingwood Magpies SSN Assistant Coach and North East Blaze Specialist Coach Kate Upton.
The Championships will take place from 21–27 August at Morayfield Sports and Events Centre on Kabi Kabi Country in Brisbane’s north.
The round robin-style event will see 11 teams, representing states and territories across the country, compete for the title of national champions.
Matches will be available to watch live, on-demand and free via Kayo Freebies.
