Netball communities across Victoria are set to benefit from significant infrastructure investment following the recent federal election, with over $70 million pledged from the Albanese Labor Government to deliver new or upgraded local sports facilities.
Key projects to benefit include a new pavilion at Templeton Reserve in Wantirna ($3 million), major renewal works at Drysdale Football & Netball Club ($5.45 million), North Bendigo Recreation Reserve ($3 million), and expansion of the the Nunawading Indoor Sports Centre ($45 million).
Additional support for venues in Werribee, Whittlesea, Somerville, Sunbury, and Fish Creek will help create safer, more inclusive spaces for netballers across metro and regional areas.
