  • Hannah was motivated to join this committee to promote inclusivity in community sports. She particularly wants to encourage school leavers to stay involved in team sports.
  • Hannah is a current undergraduate student studying Law/Arts and while taking a break from study, is looking forward to making a positive contribution to Netball in Victoria and hope to see some progressive change.

  • Maddy is a dedicated, passionate and organised person who loves a last-minute hustle on a task/event.  
  • Maddy has a golden retriever named Bailey, who refuses to leave the river/beach after a swim.
  • Maddy is passionate about increasing teenagers’ participation in netball and reducing the number of participants that quit netball in their senior years of high school. She hopes by the end of her term there is an increased retention of players aged 15+.

About Victoria:

  • Victoria is a postgraduate student from regional Victoria currently researching chemistry in Melbourne. She has a keen interest in mental health and community inclusion and love all things outdoors, especially the beach!
  • As well as netball, Victoria also loves playing Water Polo!
  • Victoria would like netball to be a sport that everyone can enjoy, she hopes to assist in making inclusive uniforms universal throughout all Victorian leagues and associations.

About Danny:

  • Danny is a netball fanatic who has played and umpired for 12 years and hopes to make a contribution to the netball community.
  • He is studying international studies and is learning to speak Chinese
  • Danny is passionate about male inclusion in our great sport. He hopes by the end of his term there will be improvements to the pathways for boys of all ages and many opportunities to get involved.

About Jess:

  • Jess is quite introverted but thrives off working in team based environments and playing team sports. She gets a lot of motivation through helping others and always learning
  • Jess has never seen the Harry Potter movies or read the books!!
  • Jess hopes during her time on the committee the team can work towards reaching a level of communication in netball which makes the sport accessible to all individuals.

About Ruby:

  • Ruby is a hardworking, organised, and driven individual who is always eager to learn. She is passionate about making a positive impact on other people’s lives.
  • Ruby has two cavoodles, Phoebe and Lulu who are 14 and 13.
  • Having a huge passion for netball, Ruby would love to utilise her position to ensure a greater level of gender inclusivity and opportunities for males to participate in netball. In addition, by the end of her term she’d love to see an increased retention of participants aged 18+.

  • Jess is an optimistic and imaginative individual that loves to sew, read and play netball!
  • Jess has 2 dogs called Freyja and Huxley.
  • With a love of all aspects of Netball, Jess wants to work on getting more people involved in umpiring and coaching as well as creating a more inclusive environment.

  • Ben played netball for Avenel FNC in the KDFNL from 2018 - 2022 and transferred to the VMMNA in 2021.
  • He wants to study psychology at Melbourne University and play netball all the way up to the Australian Men's team.
  • Ben wants to spend his time on the committee encouraging more representation for boys and young kids in regional communities.

  • Zara is a hardworking and determined ambivert! She is always eager to learn and experience new things.
  • Zara is a huge dog lover and has 3 of her own. Zara loves to stay fit and healthy and swims at state level in her spare time!
  • Zara has only been playing netball since 2019 but developed a huge passion for it right away. Since then, she has been playing, coaching, and umpiring. Zara is committed to making netball diverse and inclusive for all persons.

  • Kayla has been involved in Netball for over 15 years as a player, coach and umpire. She loves that Netball brings people together and creates such strong bonds. Kayla is very passionate about improving accessibility to Netball in her community! 
  • Kayla loves travelling and has visited 31 countries, usually eating ice cream and getting lost!
  • Her favourite musician is Taylor Swift and her favourite Taylor Swift song is ‘Mean.’

  • Currently studying a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) at Monash University.
  • Originally from Sri Lanka and moved in 2016 to do High school.
  • Has been playing Netball for 10 years as well as coaching from the age of 16 from NetSetGO level to REP level. 
  • Is passionate about travel and knows many marine life facts.
  • Kiyara has dedicated much of her time to promoting children, especially young women to continue with sport through their teenage years regardless of stereotypes. She also believes sport should be accessible to everyone regardless of who they are.

Affiliated with: Victorian Men's and Mixed, Lyndhurst FNC

  • Represented the state multiple times (2022 & 2023) at national championships in which remain undefeated whilst being captain in '22 and vice in '23. I was given Australian honours which led to a tour of NZ in the Under 17's after coming from Lyndhurst FNC (2016-2018).
  • Terron is one of the first male training partners at Ariels VNL along with 3 others in the VMMNA program.
  • Terron's goal is to make it to the Australian Open Men's Team and continue to grow the sport for all people but especially enhancing boys' pathways into the elite programs.  

Harriet Campbell

Affiliated with: Lucknow Football Netball Club

  • Harriet has been playing netball since she was 11 and fell in love with it. 
  • She is an outgoing and confident person who is very passionate about her ideas.
  • Harriet’s plan is to become a sports psychologist so when she is unable to continue playing in the netball world, I'll still be a part of it.
  • She is excited about this year to get to know everyone and hear all the wonderful ideas.
