Come and join the inclusive team at Netball Victoria as our Media & Communications Manager.

You will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of communications across Netball Victoria and Melbourne Vixens including:

  • Media and Communication strategies
  • PR stunts
  • Social media content and strategy

Qualifications and experience 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications e.g. media, public relations or communications
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in sport media/communications
  • High level experience in media liaison, including production of media releases
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills and excellent written and verbal communications
  • Experience in social media content and copy
  • Understanding of sport culture and sport organisations, including working with volunteers
  • Ability to set priorities, plan work programs, meet deadlines and manage time effectively
  • High level interpersonal skills and ability to elicit cooperation of people across a wide range of organisations
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Driver’s License
  • Some knowledge and/or experience working with individuals, groups or communities from an All Abilities, Multicultural or Indigenous background will be an advantage

Come and join the inclusive team at Netball Victoria (NV) for an exciting opportunity as our Partnerships Account Manager. Reporting to the Partnerships Specialist, your main function is to develop, maintain and strengthen sustainable relationships with all partners of NV and the Melbourne Vixens.  Whilst this is essentially a full time role, we would also consider a part time role for the right candidate.
