As the Competition and Program Manager, you’ll drive operational excellence and participation growth in Netball Victoria’s competitions and programs. This role leads strategic planning, supports operational delivery, and fosters continuous improvement to ensure high-quality experiences for participants and stakeholders. You will focus on innovation, process efficiency, and stakeholder engagement to align with Netball Victoria’s broader strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic and Operational Leadership: Lead participation and spectator growth strategies across Fury, VNL, pathway competitions, and NV-run events while ensuring governance and compliance standards.
- Stakeholder and Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with venue managers, partners, and stakeholders to enhance competition and event delivery.
- Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and manage staff, fostering a high-performance culture and collaboration across departments.
- Financial and Resource Management: Oversee budgets, financial controls, and resource allocation to maximise impact and efficiency.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance competition formats, streamline operations, and drive engagement through data-driven insights.

As the Head of People & Capability, you’ll lead the strategic development of Netball Victoria’s people and culture initiatives, fostering an engaged, high-performing, and values-driven workplace. This role is pivotal in shaping our organisational culture, driving best-practice HR strategies, and ensuring compliance with workplace legislation, OH&S, and risk management standards. You’ll champion recruitment, retention, and recognition efforts while embedding learning and development opportunities to strengthen capability across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Employer of Choice: Design and implement HR strategies that align with Netball Victoria’s strategic goals, enhancing employee engagement, performance management, and learning and development.
• Recruitment, Retention & Recognition: Oversee recruitment processes, drive performance management initiatives, and evolve recognition programs that align with our values.
• Learning and Development: Embed a culture of continuous growth by identifying development opportunities, managing compliance learning, and supporting the integration of Netball Victoria’s values.

As the Netball Coordinator (Community Clinics), you’ll oversee the delivery of Netball Victoria’s community programs, including Train Like a Vixen (TLAV) and NetSetGO. This role focuses on increasing participation, supporting grassroots netball, and ensuring high-quality program experiences across Victoria.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Clinics: Responsibility for delivery, administration, and coordination of community clinics, TLAV, and any future products
Associated Duties: Associated duties relating to netball participation and clinics, including strategic planning, monitoring budgets and reporting.
