Each Netball Victoria-affiliated association/league/club is required to nominate a duly authorised person and set themselves up with access to the ATO’s Online Services for Business to complete the Income Tax Self-Assessment by Friday 31 October 2025.
For ABN registered non-charitable NFPs, this is now a yearly requirement, and you need to lodge an annual NFP self-review return confirming income tax exemption status.
STEP ONE - Set up MyGov ID
Set up MyGov ID here
This must be done with a personal email address and it is NOT associated with the blue MyGov that is used for personal tax returns.
STEP TWO - Link MYGovID to the business ABN in Relationship Authorisation Manager
1. Click on Link your business
2. Provide Consent & Continue
3. Enter Personal details & Continue
4. Your business ABN will now appear
5. Click on the ABN and complete verification, declaration & consent
STEP THREE - Access Online Services for Business

- From 1 July 2025, Access the NFP Self-Review and complete the return for the period 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025. This needs to be completed by 31 October 2025.
- Note the return is only at a point in time, it does not have to align with your business Financial Year End.
