Customer relationship management system
Netball Victoria has introduced a new Customer relationship management (CRM) system to collect important contact, competition and facility and governance information from each affiliate. The CRM enables Netball Victoria to obtain more timely and relevant information from affiliates to better support the provision of services from Netball Victoria. Importantly it also ensures that Netball Victoria has the most up to date contact details for each affiliate therefore improving the effectiveness and efficiency of Netball Victoria communications.
A big thank-you to those affiliates who have updated their details in the system by the required date and congratulations to Hamilton Netball Association for being the lucky winner of the signed Vixens ball.
If you are experiencing any problems please contact the Affiliate Services team on 9321 2255 or memberservices@netballvic.com.au

Let Kids be Kids national campaign
Recently Netball Victoria has received a number of enquires seeking support and advice on how to combat poor sideline behaviour. Despite the Let Kids be Kids national campaign being launched a number of years ago it is still widely used to address poor sideline behaviour in junior sport. The link below will take you to the Play By The Rules website where they have compiled a suite of resources to develop your own toolkit to assist with this issue.
These include:
Online course – The Let Kids be Kids online mini-course is a free interactive online course addressing poor sideline behaviour in junior sport. It is certificated and will give you some practical ideas and strategies to combat poor sideline behaviour.
Videos – You are free to use any of the Let Kids be Kids videos to promote awareness of poor sideline behaviour. There are a variety of powerful videos with sporting icons and kids – in long or short (30 second) format. Simply go to the Videos page where you’ll find our latest videos that you can download directly. Alternatively, you can embed the videos from our YouTube Channel – http://youtube.com/playbytherulessport. You can use them on your website, at events and through social media.
Infographic – The infographic contains data that supports the key messages of Let Kids be Kids. This would be very useful to give (digitally or in hard copy) to people in your club or association to reinforce good sideline behaviour. Great for generally promoting positive messages. There are 2 versions – as a pdf and png image.
Article – You can copy and paste a 600 word article to use in your newsletters, posts and wherever you like. The article is called Kids call timeout on poor sideline behaviour and has important links back to the Play by the Rules Let Kids be Kids toolkit.
Audio files – You can embed sporting icons audio files and use them to promote the messages of Let Kids be Kids. Go to the Audio Files section where you’ll be able to download any of the Let Kids be Kids audio files. These are great to use on your website, at events or through social media.
Posters – Included in the toolkit is a poster featuring Caitlin Thwaites. It carries a simple personal message supporting Let Kids be Kids. There are two print ready versions – one with print ‘bleed’ borders and one without.
‘Please remember’ Posters – The PLEASE REMEMBER posters are an easy way to remind people that this is only a game and to respect the players, coaches and officials at all times. These posters have been downloaded thousands of times. They come in print ready format and include a Netball specific poster.
Court announcement script – Court announcements are an easy way to remind people about appropriate behaviour and your organisations expectations. There is a sample script you can adapt for your own needs.
