- Involve families and communities in the decision making process at organization level
- Manage risk of child abuse online
- Greater clarity on the governance, systems and processes to keep children and young people safe.

Umpire Retention and Recruitment
Netball Victoria have developed the ‘Test Your Knowledge’ umpires quiz for affiliates to test the knowledge of their embers and encourage umpires to join your umpiring program. This short quiz covers most of the basic rules as well as the role and behaviours of umpires on the court and is easily accessible through the website here in both a digital and PDF format. Anyone can complete the quiz (players, coaches, parents, and spectators- the more umpires, the merrier!)
In addition to the quiz to promote umpire recruitment, Netball Victoria is launching the ‘Re-Introduction to Umpiring’ workshop. The session targets umpires who have stepped away from the court and are eager to re-learn the rules, protocols, procedures, and changes to umpiring that have ensued since they last had a whistle in their hands. Delivered by NV Umpire Developers free of charge for a limited time, it is a great opportunity to refresh, practice and refine your skill. Find more information here.
There are lots of projects in the pipeline and due to launch in the coming months in the space of umpiring!
