Off the back of the recent announcement of some exciting new changes designed to evolve and strengthen our premier competition, the Victorian Netball League, Netball Victoria is now seeking applications from interested parties.
Netball Victoria announced the new structure ahead of the next five-year licensing period for the competition (2024–2028). Up to 12 licenses will be offered, up from the current 10, including up to three outside of metropolitan Melbourne in support of regional athletes, coaches and officials.
The new-look VNL will focus resources around two divisions, Championship and 23&U, which ensures high-quality matches overseen by the best umpires and at more favourable game times.
Applications are now open for interested licensees and will close on Monday 12 June 2023. All current licenses must reapply for the 2024–2028 licensing period.
Applications must be submitted electronically via the application form on the Netball Victoria website.
