The Origin Association Championships continued this weekend with the North East Division playing host to a blockbuster weekend of matches.
The round robin style tournament is a great opportunity for young up and coming talent in Victoria to hit the netball court and show off their craft.
With multiple divisions taking part, the Association Championships is an opportunity for talent scouts to assess the 15&Under and 17&Under age groups. It’s also a chance for aspiring coaches and officials to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.
The grand final battle between Corowa & District NA and Netball Wodonga White went down to the wire in the 15&Under Reserve, just two goals separating the sides with Corowa & District NA walking away with the title. the 17&Under Championship match between SS&A Ovens & Murray FNL and Albury NA was another two-goal thriller, with SS&A ahead at the final whistle.
Murray Netball League reigned supreme in the 13&Under Championship division claiming an 11-goal win in the final, while Netball Wodonga White also walked away victorious in the 13&Under Reserve against Albury NA Blue.
