It’s been a long, hard-fought season and this year’s competitors appear as ferocious as ever.
It will be an extra special finals campaign for Geelong Cougars, this being their third consecutive year having a team represented in each division.
Championship
2018 premiers City West Falcons are in a strong position to defend their title, finishing top of the ladder with only one loss, while Geelong Cougars will want redemption for their Grand Final loss to Falcons last year. North East Blaze were the only team to defeat Falcons during the season, and they look in fine form heading into finals. Casey Demons have managed to sneak into the top four in their inaugural season in the Bupa VNL.

Division One
A clear dominance by this years Division One top four sees Boroondara Express climbing the ranks from their 2018 campaign. They will be facing tough competition alongside Division One finals veterans North East Blaze and Geelong Cougars, as well as reigning premiers Hawks Netball.

19 & Under Female
City West Falcons finished a consistent season on top of the ladder recording only two losses, but given the Peninsula Waves fell just short of a Grand Final appearance last season, they’ll be determined to go one better in 2019. With a versatile team and strategy in every third, Geelong Cougars are a force to be reckoned with. A slow start to the season saw Wilson Storage Southern Saints work their way up the ladder to sneak into finals.
