The Victorian Fury will go into Round 4 of the Australian Netball League with high confidence, sitting in first position on the ANL ladder and now turning their sights to the Western Sting.
The two teams last played in the 2016 Semi-Final, with the Fury nine goal winners to progress to the grand final.
The Sting currently sit fifth on the ANL ladder, with two wins from six matches, whilst the Fury, sitting at first, have won five of their six matches in 2017.
The Sting will be looking to improve on their last game, after going down to the second-placed Queensland Fusion by just one goal.
The key match-up for the game will be in the Fury’s defensive end, with the pairing of Maddy Balson and Kate Eddy taking on the Sting’s shooters Sophie Garbin, and former West Coast Fever player, Lisa Millman.
The Fury and Sting will start their round as a curtain raiser to the Melbourne Vixens v West Coast Fever match on Saturday 11 March, before heading to Werribee for a rematch on Sunday 12 March.
